Northern Contemporary Furniture Makers

The Northern Contemporary Furniture Makers (NCFM) is a group of furniture designers and makers who are based throughout the north of England. There aim is to produce wooden furniture of exceptional quality using the finest natural materials, whether they be small jewelry boxes or large free-standing pieces, for the home, gardens, schools, offices, museums, public organisations.

Annual Exhibition

The annual exhibition is a showcase for their talents. Open from Monday, 12 September to Friday, 23 September, entry is free and is a great opportunity for anyone, whether individuals or interior designers, to appreciate the finest quality in 21st century furniture design.

It will feature a wide range of pieces from jewellery boxes and wall hangings to desks and dining room sets. Most are available to buy, and the designer/makers will be on hand for an chat, including possible commissions.

The exhibition is based in Tennants Auction Centre, Leyburn. It is easy to find, set in a stunning, rural location, wheelchair accessible and refreshments are available.
